How the trial, the Pro plan and payments work.

The seven day trial

Every new account starts with seven days of full access. No card is required.

After the trial

When the trial ends, everything you entered stays visible. You can still view your accounts, search, reveal and copy secrets, export your data, change your passphrase and contact support.

To add, edit or delete anything, you need Pro. Until you upgrade, change controls are shown but cannot be used, and a banner explains that your trial has ended. Account:dir does not send an email when your trial ends.

Pro

Pro costs $5.99 per month, or $49 per year. Open Upgrade from the top menu and select "Choose monthly" or "Choose annual". Payment is handled securely by Stripe.

When your payment completes, you return to your dashboard and full access is restored.

Managing your subscription

Open Command Center, then Billing, to see your plan, renewal date, payment method and your last twelve invoices, each with "Download invoice". Select "Manage subscription" to change your card, switch plans or cancel.

If you cancel, Pro continues until the end of the period you paid for.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, Pro continues while Stripe retries the card. If the payment still fails, the subscription ends and your account returns to view-only.
