Emails, providers and projects
How the three building blocks of your directory work, and what happens when you delete one.
Emails
Emails lists every email address you use to sign in to things. Each address can have a label and notes. Add an address at the top of the page and select "Add".
Select an address to see every account that uses it, with the total monthly and yearly cost of those accounts.
Providers
Providers lists the services and companies you have accounts with. Each provider can have a category, a website and notes.
Select a provider to see every account you have with it and what those accounts cost.
Projects
Projects let you group accounts, for example by business, client or household. A project has a name and notes. An account belongs to one project or to none.
Select a project to see every account in it and its monthly and yearly cost.
Names must be unique
You cannot have two email addresses, two providers or two projects with exactly the same name.
Editing
Select "Edit" on any row to change it in place, then "Save". Select "Cancel" to discard the change.
Deleting
Important: deleting an email address or a provider also deletes every account that uses it, together with those accounts' secrets. The confirmation tells you how many accounts will be deleted. To see which ones, open the email address or provider first.
Deleting a project keeps its accounts. They simply no longer belong to a project.
Every delete asks you to confirm first and tells you what will be removed. None can be undone.
